Our spacious Lavender Cottage is designed for 2-4 guests, offering a comfortable and well-equipped self-catering experience. It features a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen. The cozy living area includes WiFi and a cozy fireplace, while an additional single bed and loose mattress in the lounge make it ideal for small families.  

Step outside to enjoy a private, enclosed garden with a covered patio, braai facilities and a lovely area to relax while enjoying and open skies of the Karoo.  Guests have access to a shared splash pool for those hot summer days. 

Committed to sustainability, 18 on Mark operates almost entirely off the power grid. As a result, our units are designed with energy efficiency in mind.  Sorry, no aircons or heaters, but we do offer fans in summer and electric blankets in winter.  We also use treated borehole water and so fresh drinking water is provided for your convenience.

Pet-friendly for small to medium house-trained dogs (maximum of 2).  Secure parking is provided.

Lavender Cottage comprises of a queen sized bed with en-suite bathroom. A single bed in the lounge area as well as a loose mattress.

Bedding and towels are provided.

In winter – electric blankets on the beds, a down duvet as well as additional blankets.

The bathroom has a shower only, which operates on a gas geyser (there will always be hot water).

Due to the fact that all our water goes into a grey water system, we provide eco-friendly body wash/shampoo & hand wash.

Smart TV for your entertainment.  Netflix and limited DSTV available.  Bring your Showmax and other app login details should you require more.

There is an outside braai with grids and tongs etc. We provide a bag of wood for each booking, thereafter wood can be obtained from us if needed.

Enjoy your morning cup of coffee sitting on the bench under the pine tree and listening to the sound of the birds in the tree or the town beginning to stir to life.

A splash pool is available to all the guests at both units to enjoy.

Secure “off street” parking is available behind locked gate.
